According to many research articles violence towards nurses in the work place often goes unreported for different reasons. Some of the reasons are not being taken seriously, lack of management support, and a believe that it is a part of the job. (Phend, C., 2010) Friday, September 6, 2013

Olga Reed and Theresa Smith are two students in RN to BSN students at Penn State.
Between both of us we have 30 years of experience in the nursing field.
We are starting a blog concerned with violence in the work place against nurses. It is a great concern in health care today. We are trying to educate other nurses on this subject.
